News 16/10/10

I’ve been busy recently working with fellow LIPA graduate Michael Bruce for the score of Men Should Weep at the National’s Lyttelton Theatre. I’ve been producing and mixing Michael’s jazz score which was recorded at the NT’s studios this week. Previews begin next week…

I’ve also been in workshops at the Tristan Bates Theatre in Covent Garden with writer Ben Ockrent and director Gregory Thompson developing a new theatrical musical piece, Playsong, as part of the Ignition 2010 project. A naturalistic musical about music therapy, I’ve been really enthused by what we have managed to come up with in such a short space of time. The workshops will be shown to an audience at the Tristan Bates on 26th, 27th and 29th October at 7.30pm.
