Very pleased to be working again with the brilliant Sam Yates (who I previously collaborated on for The EL Train at Hoxton Hall, Cornelius in New York) on East Is East for the second season of Jamie Lloyd’s Trafalgar Transformed season. I’m composer and sound designer on the production, designed by Tom Scutt and Lighting by Richard Howell.
It stars Jane Horrocks and Ayub Khan Din, who also wrote the play, originally shown at the Royal Court before becoming an iconic film.
The production opens on 4th October 2014 and runs until 3rd January 2015.
I’m presently composing music and sound for Macbeth directed by Jamie Lloyd – the first production as part of his Trafalgar Transformed season in the radically redesigned Trafalgar Studio in the West End. Designed by award winning Soutra Gilmour for Jamie Lloyd Productions and ATG, the cast includes James McAvoy and Claire Foy.
Very happy to be working with Jamie again after the success of The Faith Machine at the Royal Court Theatre in 2011. Tickets for the show are already sold out, although there is limited availability on some nights as more seats become available. Macbeth opens for previews on 9th Feb and runs for ten weeks. More information about tickets etc here.

I’ve recently completed sound and music for The Faith Machine, presently playing at the Royal Court’s Jerwood Theatre downstairs until 1st October. Working with fellow LIPA graduate director Jamie Lloyd and written by Alexi Kaye Campbell, the cast includes Hayley Atwell and Ian McDiarmid. To read more about the production and book tickets visit the Royal Court website here. Here is a selection of some of my music for the show;
